Oil Pull- Up Leather

What is Oil Pull- Up Leather?

Oil pull-up leather is a type of leather that has been treated with oils and waxes during the tanning process. These oils and waxes are added to the leather to enhance its natural characteristics and create a unique, rugged look. The oils and waxes also make the leather more water-resistant and help it to develop a patina over time.

When the leather is stretched or pulled, the oils and waxes cause the color of the leather to lighten in those areas, creating a unique “pull-up” effect. This effect is one of the distinguishing characteristics of oil pull-up leather.

Oil pull-up leather is commonly used in the production of bags, wallets, and other accessories, as well as in furniture upholstery. Due to its natural characteristics, oil pull-up leather is known for its durability, longevity, and resistance to water damage.
